about

We were commissioned by Janice Kernoghan, one of the Replay producers to write 4 tracks for this production - one of which is performed live by the cast during the performance. "Shimmer" seems to be the stand-out track for radio audiences and has received a playlisting on Spotify ("Hush little Darlings"). Most of the EP was written while we were backpacking in southeast Asia with our two kids (6 and 9). The track "Meet the Aliens" features our kids, 2 nieces (one of whom also has a speaking part in the track) and one of their friends, Hannah. The track "The Mission" features on violin, Vicky Schmidt, who is also a member of the production cast. Dave Stockard (from every Belfast folk act) plays drums on "Shooting Stars & Fireworks".
We recorded all tracks with Phil D'Alton (Master & Dog) at Graham House studios. Phil was also involved in production and plays some electric guitar and keyboard here and there. All tracks are mastered by Jon at Moostronix.

The show takes place in various PMLD schools across Northern Ireland and the first tour of 31 shows finishes this Friday with a plan to run it again early 2015.

"Their first single ‘Goldrush’ is a swooning dream like ditty, peppered with lucid lyrics and twin vocals so sweet and heart warming, it’s like pouring a cup of hot chocolate directly into your ear.”
Phil Taggart, BBC Across The Line
